The orchestra has been awarded the prestigious Norwegian Culture Prize of Anders Jahre. This honorary award is a recognition of the orchestra\'s contributions to the musical life of Norway.
The orchestra will receive the prize at a ceremony at Universitetets Aula in Oslo 06.09.2007. The following evening there will be a concert at Gamle Logen in Oslo.
