Finally the waiting is nearly over! The Trondheim Soloists will soon be off on tour again, this time to the Far East with Anne Sophie Mutter!
The Trondheim Soloists will be giving 13 concerts in Shanghai, Beijing, Taichung, Tainan, Taipei, Seoul, Hong Kong, Osaka, Toyota, Kurashikia and Tokyo.We will be performing in many of the most important venues across the region, including the new National Centre for the Performing Arts in Beijing!
This tour will once again reunite Ms Mutter with the Trondheim Soloists, a highly successful collaboration which has already resulted in extensive tours to Europe and the USA as well as the release of the hugely popular Vivaldi Four Seasons album for DG.
This time the programme will include Bach’s Violin Concerto in E Major, BWV 1042 and Vivaldi’s Four Seasons as well as Bartok’s Divertimento for String Orchestra the Divertimento.
This tour will mark the Far East release of Ms Mutter’s new CD with the Trondheim Soloists for DG, of Bach Concerti. It will also mark the release of the Trondheim Soloists own recording of works by Britten, Bacewicz, Bjørklund and Bartok’s Divertimento for 2L records.
